Overview
These Terms and Conditions apply to the Pictum website, the early access Pictum web app, and any related pages or features we make available (together, the “Service”). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.
If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Service.
About Pictum
The Service is provided by PICTUM Ltd., a company based in the United Kingdom, with its registered office at 71-75 Shelton Street, Covent Garden, London, United Kingdom, WC2H 9JQ.
The Service is currently offered on an early access basis and may change frequently.
Early Access Status
The Service is not yet a final production release. Features may be added, changed, limited, or removed at any time. We may suspend or withdraw the Service, in whole or in part, without notice where reasonably necessary for maintenance, security, legal, or operational reasons.
You use the Service at your own risk. We do not guarantee that the Service will always be available, uninterrupted, secure, or error-free.
Eligibility and Access
You must only use the Service if you can lawfully enter into these Terms. No account is currently required to access the early access web app, but we may introduce access controls or eligibility requirements later.
Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- use the Service for any unlawful, fraudulent, harmful, or abusive purpose;
- interfere with the security, stability, or normal operation of the Service;
- attempt to access parts of the Service, systems, or data that are not intended for you;
- copy, scrape, reverse engineer, or misuse the Service except where applicable law does not allow that restriction;
- submit viruses, malicious code, or content that infringes another person’s rights.
You remain responsible for any content, material, or information you submit to or process through the Service.
Intellectual Property
We own or license the intellectual property rights in the Service, including our branding, software, design, and site content, except where stated otherwise.
You retain ownership of content you submit or create using the Service. However, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive licence to host, process, transmit, and display that content only as needed to operate, secure, maintain, and improve the Service.
Feedback
If you send us feedback, suggestions, or ideas, you agree that we may use them without restriction or payment, unless we expressly agree otherwise in writing.
Third-Party Services
The Service may rely on third-party providers, including infrastructure, hosting, security, and communications providers. Their services may be subject to separate terms and privacy policies.
Liability
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited under applicable law.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or loss of profit damages arising from or connected with your use of the Service.
Our total liability to you in relation to the Service will, to the fullest extent permitted by law, be limited to GBP 100.
Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will post the updated version on this page and change the “Last updated” date. By continuing to use the Service after the updated Terms take effect, you agree to the revised Terms.
Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, unless mandatory law in your usual place of residence requires otherwise.
